容敏智(RONG, Min Zhi),博士,教授,高分子化学与物理专业和材料化学与物理专业博士生导师。男,1961年6月生,籍贯:广东新会。主要研究方向:高分子材料与复合材料。 主要科研方向:高分子化学与物理,高分子材料,聚合物基复合材料、有机/无机纳米复合材料、环境友好复合材料、智能和功能型复合材料。

1979.9~1983.7 天津大学化学工程系高分子化工专业本科毕业,获学士学位。
1983.9~1986.4 天津大学材料科学与工程系高分子材料专业硕士研究生毕业,获工学硕士学位。
1991.2~1994.3 中山大学材料科学研究所博士研究生毕业,获理学博士学位。[1]

1986.4~1991.2 天津大学材料科学与工程系从事科研和教学工作。
1994.4~至今 在中山大学材料科学研究所从事教学与科研工作。
1995年晋升为副教授。[1] 
1996年获硕士生导师资格。
2001年晋升为研究员。
2003年获博士导师资格,同时转为教授职称。
1997.9-1998.3,在香港城市大学物理与材料科学系合作科研(高级访问学者)。
2002.1-2002.4,在德国凯撒斯劳腾大学复合材料研究所合作科研(高级访问学者)。
现任中山大学化学与化学工程学院高分子与材料科学系副主任兼材料科学研究所副所长。[1]
